CHE PROJECTO
Che to this day is known as a rebel. He was a revolutionary man who fought with Fidel Castro. Guevara became political active first in his native Argentina and then in neighboring Bolivia and Guatemala. Many movies are based off of him such as the Motor Cycle Diaries. His life ended shortly after he was captured and shot. The captures cut of his hand and sent it back to Cuba so that they would be aware. For this project I chose the option of Drawing a picture of Che and writing three commands that Che was likely to utter. The other option was to cook a Cuban recipe and translate the recipe in english and spanish. |
La Casa De Mango St.
In this project we read six chapters of a book entitled "La Casa De Mango St." We then wrote a short story on our own homes. This was a good reading exercise to help us understand spanish. By doing this exercise we enhanced the skills we already possessed. We wrote about things such as our neighbors our old and present house. We wrote about memories which helped us with our past tense. |
Proyecto de las Ramblas
In this project we picked a famous Spanish person. Once we found a person we like and connected with we researched them. We filled out boxes about their life and from there wrote a paragraph summarizing them. The next step in our project was creating a slide show. This slide show included seven question that we answered throughout the presentation. We also included three more questions at the end that asked a question about a picture of them or an art they did. After we finished our presentation we wrote another paragraph we called an "elevator speech" were we were talking about ourselves as if we were the Spanish person we chose. This taught us how to use past participles because we were talking about events in there life. This expanded how we can communicate in Spanish and it is very important to know. We learned when to use the preterite and when to use the imperfect and how to associate it with whom you are talking about. We also learned about irregulars and ir/ser. The exhibition went well for me, I felt well rehearsed and organized. I tried making my exhibition station interesting so I included art and did something fun visually with my seven questions. I even received compliments witch made me feel like my hard work payed off.
